ESSILOR® SUN SOLUTION™, the Essilor® Group Division specialising in sun plano lenses, and EKOI, a European producer of cycling equipment, have announced the release of EKOI PERSOEVO 10 sunglasses. These new sun models are the result of a close collaboration between the product development team and the pro-riders of the sport company’s Deceuninck Quick Step team together with sunlens specialists, Essilor® Sun Solution™. The new line - EKOI PERSOEVO 10 - has been conceived as a range of technical sunglasses for cycling, offering technical features which include an extra lightweight construction (just 28g) and heightened ventilation. The frames have been designed to perform in challenging sport conditions. The models are combined with four different Essilor® Sun Solution™ sun lenses made in NXT®, the patented material which combines the optical clarity of mineral lenses and lightness and impact resistance of organic lenses. All the lenses produced for the line are mirrored and have oleophobic and anti-fog treatments, with one of the three, in addition, being photochromic. According to the lens company, the result is sunglass styles developed according to feedback from professional riders and produced with advanced manufacturing to guarantee excellent performance.
