LIGHTBIRD Italian label launches

A new Italian label, produced in Belluno, launches this month. Lightbird is designed by eyewear designer Corrado Rosson, and features collections presented with two patents. The first, referred to as Light_nest, involves the use of an App allowing the reading of a unique serial number inserted in the QR code positioned in the temple tip of each pair of Lightbird glasses. The second is the development of a new material used in the line called Light_matter, derived from using two materials, Italian acetate and an advanced, lightweight aluminium alloy. The first Lightbird collection consists of 13 prescription models and two sunglasses, one of which has a special ‘bird’s eye’ logo featured on the left lens.
