The Italian label LOOK announces its new models at the start of 2020. A contemporary mood, sophisticated design and lightweight construction are characteristic features of the frames in this collection, according to the company statement. Included in the range is style Look 04512.53 described as a cat-eye front, made from double-thickness transparent acetate. Xinox steel temples with contrasting gold finish and adjustable temple tips complete the design. A special feature of the collection is a transparent model - Look 04943.55. The front of the frame is made from LOOK’s pure ‘NIL’ technopolymer while the temples and adjustable temple tips are made from titanium; both materials are light, flexible and hypoallergenic. The frame features screwless hinges and hand-applied points of colour which aim to offer a unique and different look. The LOOK company, based in Longarone, Italy, produces frames in a variety of advanced materials including ALUMIX, an aluminium and magnesium alloy; traditional cellulose acetate; XINOX, an exclusive Swedish steel and NIL, a technopolymer with excellent strength and lightweight properties.
