The manager will join Alfonso Dolce in the maison’s new phase of evolution.

Dolce & Gabbana has announced the appointment of Stefano Cantino as co-CEO of the Group, alongside Alfonso Dolce, President and Chief Executive Officer. The decision comes as part of a strategic transformation phase for the maison, which aims to evolve from a fashion brand into a broader lifestyle company.

Cantino’s appointment follows a reorganization of the Group’s governance, also marked by Stefano Gabbana stepping down from managerial roles while retaining his creative position within the company.

“I am pleased to have Stefano Cantino by my side in this new phase of growth and development,” said Alfonso Dolce, highlighting the strategic importance of the appointment.

Cantino brings extensive international experience gained at leading luxury groups. After a long career at Prada Group, he held senior roles at Louis Vuitton and more recently at Gucci, where he also served as Chief Executive Officer.

“It is an honor for me to join Dolce & Gabbana, which represents Italian excellence in an extraordinary way worldwide,” commented the manager.

The appointment is part of a broader organizational and strategic evolution of the Group, which aims to strengthen its position in international markets and expand into new business areas beyond its core fashion activities.

Founded in 1985, Dolce & Gabbana is now entering a key phase in its journey, with the goal of consolidating growth and redefining its model in an increasingly competitive luxury market.
