Eco Eyewear reaches 4.2 million trees planted through One Frame, One Tree program

Written by MIDO | 04/20/2026

Eco Eyewear is proud to announce a major milestone in its sustainability journey: more than 4.2 million trees have now been planted through the brand’s One Frame, One Tree program.

Since launching the initiative in partnership with the global nonprofit organization Trees for the Future, Eco Eyewear has committed to planting a tree for every frame purchased. This effort supports large-scale reforestation while helping farming communities restore degraded land, grow food, and build sustainable livelihoods.

It also enables farmers to implement regenerative agroforestry practices that improve soil health, increase crop yields, and create long-term economic opportunities.

“Reaching 4.2 million trees planted is more than a milestone for Eco; it’s proof that business can be a force for regeneration. Through our One Frame, One Tree program, every frame purchased helps plant a tree and support long-term environmental restoration. Our community isn’t just choosing eyewear, they’re choosing impact.”
— Alessandro Lanaro, Founder of Eco Eyewear

Eco Eyewear designs frames using sustainable materials including biobased material, recycled metal, and recycled aluminium. By combining responsible materials with environmental action, the brand continues to prove that eyewear can be an everyday choice that contributes to a larger environmental impact.

As Eco Eyewear continues to grow, so does its impact. With every frame purchased, another tree is planted, helping restore forests and support communities around the world.
