Innovation and AI for eyewear: Innovereye launches a new training programme

Written by MIDO | 05/04/2026

A programme starting in mid-May aimed at helping companies in the sector integrate artificial intelligence into production and organisational processes.

A new training programme dedicated to the eyewear sector, promoted by Innovereye, will kick off on 15 May, with the aim of supporting companies in the conscious adoption of artificial intelligence.

The programme, aimed at industry operators – from companies and artisans to manufacturers – is set within a context where technological innovation is becoming an increasingly strategic driver of competitiveness across the value chain.

The course is designed to provide practical and applicable tools, going beyond theory. Its goal is to offer a clear understanding of how artificial intelligence can be integrated across different business areas, from production and supply chain to product development and commercial activities.

The programme is part of the AI Literacy initiative promoted by Innovereye Academy, with the aim of supporting companies in adopting innovative technologies in a structured and informed way.

The initiative is developed within the Innovereye ecosystem, an innovation hub based in Belluno, promoted by ANFAO and Confindustria Belluno Dolomiti, with the support of technological and institutional partners.

The project is addressed to different company functions, from management to operational teams, with the objective of building a shared knowledge base and encouraging an integrated approach to innovation.

The training programme includes in-person sessions and hands-on workshops, where participants will work on real case studies to facilitate interaction and the practical implementation of the acquired skills.

The initiative represents an important step in bridging the gap between technological potential and adoption capabilities within the eyewear sector, strengthening the competitiveness of the industry also at an international level.

The first edition will take place in Belluno, confirming the strategic role of the area as a hub for innovation in eyewear.
