Written by MIDO | 08/27/2026

IEE Paris Takes Place on September 24 at Pavillon Cambon.

Following last year’s debut at the George V, IEE Paris | Italian Eyewear Exhibition returns to Paris on Thursday, September 24, at the Pavillon Cambon. The initiative, organised by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) with the support of ANFAO, will bring together 26 Italian eyewear companies, selected to showcase the diversity and expertise of the country’s eyewear industry.

The event aims to foster connections between Italian manufacturers and international professionals, including opticians, buyers, distributors, concept stores and other industry operators.

The focus of the day will be on the latest optical and sun collections, presented for the first time by the participating companies. From 3 pm, visitors will have the opportunity to meet company owners and management teams and discover the proposals of the Italian exhibitors.

The event is part of the Italian eyewear industry’s ongoing internationalization strategy and its continued focus on international markets. Through IEE Paris, ANFAO renews its commitment to promoting Made in Italy eyewear by providing tangible support to member companies in their growth and internationalization strategies, while spotlighting one of Italy's most emblematic manufacturing districts. The industry currently comprises approximately 800 companies, employs 22,800 people and generates production valued at €5.64 billion. Almost 90% of production is exported, making Italy the world’s leading producer and exporter of high-end frames and sunglasses.

France represents a particularly important market. It is currently the leading European market and the world's second-largest export market for Italian eyewear, confirming Paris’s strategic role as a meeting point for companies looking to strengthen their international presence.

The Italian Eyewear Exhibition is an important opportunity to illustrate the value, prestige and distinctive quality of Italian eyewear in a strategic market such as France, while creating new opportunities for our companies to connect with international industry professionals” stated Lorraine Berton, President of ANFAO.

IEE Paris also confirms the ongoing collaboration between the ITA and ANFAO, which is developed through a number of initiatives dedicated to the sector, including MIDO | Milano Eyewear Show, set to take place February 6th to 8th, 2027, at Fiera Milano Rho.
