The partnership between the British fashion house and the Italian group, active since 2018, will continue with a focus on distinctive design and sustainable materials.

Mulberry and De Rigo Vision have renewed their licensing agreement for the development, production and distribution of the British brand’s eyewear collections. The collaboration, launched in 2018, will now run until 2031.

De Rigo Vision, an Italian group operating internationally in the eyewear industry, designs and distributes both optical and sunglasses collections for several brands. Its collaboration with Mulberry was established with the aim of translating the maison’s British aesthetic into the eyewear segment.

Founded in Somerset in 1971, Mulberry is best known for its high-end leather goods. Over time, it has expanded its portfolio to include ready-to-wear, accessories and homeware. In 2024, the company achieved B Corp certification, recognizing its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

The eyewear collections, part of this path, include models made from bio-based acetate and bio-nylon lenses. The design draws on Mulberry’s signature elements such as the “postman’s lock” fastening and the Mulberry Tree logo.

Andrea Baldo, CEO of Mulberry, highlighted how the partnership with De Rigo integrates eyewear into the brand’s lifestyle offering. Michele Aracri, CEO of De Rigo Vision, underlined the strength of the partnership and the prospects for international growth.
