L.G.R and the shoe brand Superga launch a limited edition sunglasses to celebrate together the Italian Summer.

L.G.R has created a new exclusive model of sunglasses in collaboration with Superga, taking as a reference the L.G.R bestseller model Jambo and customizing it on the basis of the colors and finishes of the new Superga Bold Organic Canvas shoe in organic cotton.

Material selection is at the very core of L.G.R. The sunglasses are are carefully handcrafted from cellulose acetate – used for its inherent durability and flexibility allowing the frames to adapt to the wearer’s face over time. Each frame is created by skilled artisans using traditional methods of production, in order to deliver an authentic and durable product. For this collaboration with Superga, the finish of the front of the Jambo was achieved through a natural thermal opacification process called sandblasting, preserving the very high quality of the cellulose acetate and giving it a modern twist.

To recreate the atmosphere of the classic Italian summer, the campaign was shot on the beach of Forte dei Marmi, setting of iconic Italian films such as “Sapore di mare” (1983).
