License agreement with Yuka for Lotto and Nazareno Gabrielli

January 9 2008

The vision collection with the Lotto label includes 14 models that will be delivered to opticians' stores starting January 2008, whereas the 6 models in the sun collection are already on sale at about thirty trendsetting independent opticians' in Italy and in 6 other countries, including Russia, Turkey and Mexico. In 2008, Nazareno Gabrielli will also enter the eyewear world. After difficult years in the Nineties, the historical Marche-based brand of leather handbags and accessories which celebrated its century of business in 2007 is back on the market and has signed a license agreement with Yuka, a production and distribution company in the eyewear sector.

'The collection signed by Nazareno Gabrielli will include 14 vision models and 12 sun models due to be delivered to opticians' beginning mid-February' explained Luigi Bellocchio, one of the three partners who set up Yuka this year.

According to the intentions of the new optics company, Nazareno Gabrielli, Lotto and another brand under license 'will target three market segments and, as a consequence, three different types of consumers', Bellocchio said.
