The Philippe Plein Resort 2020 collection is a jump into the Post-Punk London of the early 80s. Philippe Plein a modern-day hyper accessorized Siouxsie Sioux, covered in leather, studs and featuring the iconic 80’s Goth archetypes.
Exaggerated shoulder pads give structure to super feminine draped dresses fully covered in Swarovski or sequins featuring asymmetric skirts and leg-of-mutton sleeves, while they add an ironic accent to the shimmering, uber-graphic dress with Plein lettering.
Shoulder pads reshapes the outerwear too and they’re combined with mini-skirts or shorts. In the The white suit combo with matching skirt, it redefines the epitome of power-dressing, while as a black blazer with crystal revers, it is styled with latex shorts and matches the top underneath.
