A group of fifteen designers, selected from IED students in the 3rd year of the Fashion Design and Fashion Stylist Courses in the colleges in Milan, Rome, Florence, Turin and Como, have created five men’s fashion capsule collections: Divisi, Human Trace, Oddly Beautiful, Puru Puru and Parcae.
The name of the project is ‘The Time is Now!’, and it is an initiative of the European Institute of Design together with the Italian Detox Implementation Consortium (CID) and Greenpeace Italy.
The collections were made using fabrics provided by companies committed to following the Greenpeace Detox projects and selected for their environmentally-friendly processes starting from the elimination of dangerous substances from their production cycles; furthermore, many of these fabrics were produced using recycled material.
