The German eyewear label, Kuboraum has unveiled their Morph-Machinery Mask Z50, a frame they describe as a hybrid design morphing aesthetic codes from the Micrometal, Reisen, and Machinery Series.
Its round frame is encased in a dense, hand-hammered exoskeleton, while the bridge represents a fusion of the interlocking Micrometal and Machinery gear archetypes. Each temple “follows its own law of mechanics”, diverging yet converging into a coherent whole: one side the Reisen’s superimposed hinge, the Machinery gear hinge on the other. The result is a frame that is completely unique in its signature details, materials and extraordinary details.
