Following their previous collaboration, Haffmans & Neumeister + Marcus Paul release a charismatic sophomore collection
The second collaboration between sheet metal specialists Haffmans & Neumeister and innovative stylist Marcus Paul further reveals their shared interests in aesthetics and design—this time with a particularly dynamic quality. “In the first collaboration we covered the essentials,” says Paul. “Now we’ve come together to simply create the shapes that move us, that reference an emotion; there’s an intuitiveness here, a magnetism.” The frames in the new collaboration collection play with volume, flaunting an uncanny quick-shift between ultra-thin metal to ultra-bulky acetate. There is a structure-meets-fluidity feeling in the collection that is timely and prescient, according to the eyewear company. In an age hungry for sincerity, the Haffmans & Neumeister + Marcus Paul collection aims to offer a cohesion between the present and an optimism for the future. Produced in stainless steel sheet metal and handmade Italian acetate, each of the four new styles comes in three colorways.
