The world's leading eyewear companies, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, meet here to present their new collections and inspire the style of the most important fashion accessory: the one we wear on our face and that defines our identity.


The fascinating world of ophthalmic lenses and all the major international manufacturers meet to present the latest technological innovations to professionals. This pavilion hosts the Otticlub, the industry meeting place dedicated to information and education.



A magical, special space for the most avant-garde companies in the sector where creativity knows no bounds and plays with shapes and materials, thus creating not only contemporary eyewear, but also the eyewear of the future. In this connection, the Design Lab interprets and anticipates trends and directions.


An incubator of ideas for companies, who deeply believes in designers and their creativity, selected by a special committee of experts to exhibit at MIDO. A special, nonconformist location for all those who make originality their motto and love to amaze by pushing themselves beyond all limits.


MIDO will still be able to welcome a representation of oriental producers (China, Singapore and Taiwan) and a collective from South Corea, as evidence of the different Asian business realities. Not only a stepping-stone to Western markets, the FAiR East area is the place to be for entrepreneurs from the Far East who want to test themselves against the whole world.


The world’s largest exhibition area dedicated to machinery, raw materials and components in the eyewear sector, with demonstrations of the latest sophisticated tools for manufacturing frames, crafting lenses, and for finished and semi-finished products.

Start Up

The Start Up area hosts emerging players in the eyewear market in a space of their own to present their collections on this international stage. The set-up is made of recycled and recyclable materials, in line with the event's environmental responsibility programme begun in 2019, to obtain ISO 20121 certification.
