The Australian designer offers custom slim fit styles in COOMBS+CO collection
Peter Coombs Eyewear presents titanium and Argentium silver eyewear designed to fit slim faces with short pupil distances. There are five special slim-fit designs amongst the 16 new styles in the new COOMBS+CO collection. “I noticed that a lot of my custom eyewear orders were for clients who were unable to find unique luxury frames to fit their smaller heads and so decided that it would be the design focus for the initial concepts in my next collection,” says Coombs about the designs. The brand’s signature Argentium silver hinge design remains a feature in the new collection while an evolution in simplicity and materials is evident with sleek temples and the raw, high polished titanium finish typical of the “jewellery for the face” approach to frame design. The new styles are inspired by and named after the laneways surrounding COOMBS+CO Eyewear Atelier - the home of Peter Coombs Eyewear in Adelaide, South Australia. All frames are designed, prototyped and made on site. Customisation of these frames is now available for the first time to wholesale customers, with 10 ceramic colouring options, 3 temple lengths and sun lenses to make selections from for each of the 16 styles. Peter Coombs Eyewear have announced their participation of MIDO 2021 | Digital Edition, where the team will show the brand new collection for the first time.
