POLICE BY DE RIGO VISION Continued retail expansion in UK


De Rigo Group’s lifestyle brand Police has opened a new store inside Manchester’s Intu Trafford Centre, the third largest designer outlet in the United Kingdom. The shopping destination attracts 31 million visitors per year and features over 150 fashion and lifestyle boutiques, bars and restaurants.
The new Police store boasts floor space of over 500 square foot and has been inspired by the brand’s aesthetic codes with a concept that offers a ‘metropolitan’ mood, designed to enable visitors to be fully immersed in the Police DNA within the store. The new space features all the Police lifestyle products, including the latest arrivals, a new capsule clothing collection and the Police X Lewis Hamilton eyewear range designed in partnership with the F1 racing driver.
This is the second store to have opened in the United Kingdom for Police following the inauguration of a Chester shop in the Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet in April 2019. The opening represents a new and important retail expansion phase for Police, according to the company. Police already has an established presence in China, Japan, India and South Africa.
Launched in the ’80s as a De Rigo Group eyewear brand, Police now creates a range of products beyond eyewear, including fragrances, watches, jewellery and small leather goods, all characterised by premium materials and a distinct, urban spirit.
