Andrea Afragoli

Born in 1964 in Emilia, a land “dreaming between today and tomorrow, of food, motors, luxury, and dance halls,” at 18 he was in Vinci, following the family tradition of studying optics first and then optometry. He soon became involved in associations, climbing the ranks of the National Federation of Opticians and Optometrists from the lowest level until he became its president in 2013. He has been working in the family's optical center since 1988, as his current commitments allow.
