Club Cobalto was founded on April 28, 1949 in Barcelona by a group of artists determined to spread the most advanced art of the moment. They organized Joan Miró’s first major exhibition, after his stay in Paris, jazz sessions, contemporary music concerts, dance and readings, always introducing the avant-garde of the moment. This season, eyewear brand KALEOS EYEHUNTERS pays tribute to the collective by naming the new collection SS2019 after this group of artists who, says the company, knew how to see beyond borders, the establishment and their time.
