Launch of new Scandinavian Brand, based in Denmark
VÆRK Copenhagen has introduced an exclusive eyewear collection this season, representing dedication to craftsmanship and advanced technology, blended with Danish design tradition. With a focus on engineering and attention to detail, the collection is distinguished by an interlocking hinge system designed without any screws. The concept has been achieved in collaboration with Danish industrial design duo Harrit-Sørensen and boasts “high level precision but also an aesthetically appealing link between the frame front and temple”, according to the company. The VÆRK hinge is created using a system of carefully calculated components and accuracy while technology is integrated in a classic and aesthetically clean frame design. VÆRK strives to create timeless yet modern eyewear with a refined and classic look. All the frames are designed without any unnecessary and disturbing elements reflecting the uncompromising ideals of the Danish design philosophy. The frames in the line are created in three different high-quality materials, acetate, stainless steel and carbon wood - all durable, lightweight materials with a modern look.
The new VÆRK collection will be on show at MIDO 2020, Booth LA27, Pavilion 6.
