A new line from globally recognized celebrity David Beckham, produced and distributed by Safilo launches worldwide from January 2020. According to the eyewear company, Beckham has worked closely with the Safilo design team to imagine a wide and complete collection of sunglasses and optical frames, combining an effortless, British style and attitude with a timeless spirit, and focus on detail and functionality. The collection introduces a newly created DB monogram to define the eyewear through qualities of craftsmanship, precision production and design.The sunglasses and optical frames feature lightweight materials and mineral, polarized or photochromic lenses, conceived as “the perfect and functional accessory to be worn at anytime, from morning till night, wherever you are in the world.” According to Safilo, David Beckham Eyewear is dedicated to a consumer interested in a timeless design with ties to Beckham’s hometown of London. The acetate and metal frames are distinguished by masculine design and distinctive details, highlighted by a colour palette including Havana shades as well as classic metal galvanic colours, paired with classic brown or grey lenses, as well as clearer shades of green, yellow, azure.
