10th Anniversary of Lamarca
The FUSIONI 188 and 189S models are two important new limited edition releases from Lamarca, designed to celebrate our 10th anniversary. And what better time to celebrate than at MIDO26?
The two models, presented in a special box with custom graphics, belong to the FUSIONI family, created to showcase the expressive potential that can be achieved with acetate eyewear thanks to the bonding technique used to make the two celebratory models. This is a complex process that requires time and precision, but allows us to create infinite colour combinations.
FUSIONI eyewear is made up of different pieces of acetate, designed to fit together perfectly. Each part is glued to the other in individual steps. At the end of the process, we mill and shape the glasses to achieve their final form. The final perception is that of glasses that express colour and geometry with taste and elegance. In FUSIONI, colours meet, blend and chase each other like small flashes of light that create harmony.
Produced in a limited edition and available for pre-sale from March 2026, FUSIONI 188 and FUSIONI 189S are reminiscent of and inspired by the works of Italian genius Fortunato Depero (1892-1960), the master of Futurism.
As with the other families in the Lamarca product range, the FUSIONI models also draw inspiration from the world of art to become wearable icons. Needless to say, the graphics that accompany them are inspired by the early 20th-century movement, recalling it in their details and style.
In FUSIONI 188 and 189S (with sunglasses lenses), the graphic motif of the design recalls the bold, geometric compositions of Fortunato Depero and Giacomo Balla, where black and white alternate to create new, harmonious shapes in continuous motion. A look at the past that speaks of innovation in technicalities and aesthetics.
Just like Futurist art, the two celebratory models blend vision and movement, transforming tradition into a new expression of energy and style. An important milestone, a decade of history celebrated with two models that have what it takes to become style icons.
