Founded in 2020, the young label Impuri Eyewear describes its mission as “inspiring self-expression”. Created by Goran Ilic, the collection is characterised by high-end design, combining traditional craft and performance materials. According to the company, every piece of Impuri Eyewear is a labour of love. “Our unique interpretation of eyewear starts with a basic clean silhouette that gradually becomes an impressive design piece,” states the designer. “Every stage of the design process and development of the collection is supported by reflection on artisanal techniques that will be applied in making and fabrication. To ensure our production to be sustainable and environmentally safe we exploit 3d printing, sculpting, and innovative mould-making techniques.” Impuri Eyewear frames have a bold statement style, to express the wearer’s personality. Every style is handmade in-house, using materials such as carbon fibre and aircraft-grade aluminium, and released in numbered and limited series.
