GIGI STUDIOS announces black & white capsule collection
GIGI STUDIOS has released a capsule collection featuring black and white acetate laminations.
The collection pays homage to Op-art and optical illusions and aims to capture the essence of form and design, highlighting “the subtle and precise rather than the saturation of bright colour”. The Black & White capsule collection comprises three sun and three optical designs, crafted in Italian acetate. They include the sunglass style Contrast, a square design with an eye-catching front and Viceversa, a statement model inspired by the traditional cat’s-eye. The new optical designs include a square-shaped model called Extreme, and a round-shaped frame called Analog. These two models combine black and white in various ways including a subtle and contrasting look, and playful symmetrical and asymmetrical details. They are both available in two combinations of black with white.
