Master in innovative technologies for sports eyewear and articles

Students and teachers are very pleased about the progress being made with the 'Master in innovative technology for sports eyewear and articles' promoted by Certottica as part of the new business sector 'Dolomiticert' and financed thanks to contributions from the European Social Fund.

The course is meeting up to the expectations the young engineers taking part, who recognize it as a sound training opportunity in a sector that, in the coming years, will be increasingly strategic for the Province of Belluno, the Veneto and the entire Alpine area.

The aim of the master taking place in the coming months at Certottica is to provide young engineers with additional skills in the field of process and product research and innovation for glasses and sports articles in order to meet the requests of a rapidly expanding market.

The area of Belluno is perfect for this new economic-production system as it is situated half way between the sportsystem district of Treviso and the world of winter sports, the Dolomites, which are also the ideal stepping stone to Austria, another colossus in the mountain sports sector.

The main aspect that influenced the decision of the ten engineers to take part in this course is that it focuses on innovation: many students believe that innovation is the fundamental element in current production. An experience targeted at studying and researching innovative technology can only be a perfect opportunity for entering the workplace quickly and in a way that is consistent with the training course.
