Invented in Germany (the only country where the product will continue to be managed by the creator), Switch-it eyewear is due to arrive in Italy from mid May, and in the rest of Europe from June. De Rigo Vision, in Longarone (BL) will control the global market for what will become, more than a simple accessory, a reflection of every day lifestyle for anyone wearing it.
Switch-it allows you to change the color of all of the parts (bridge and stems), to match your mood or clothing, thus reinventing the concept of accessory. This eyewear brings back to light the dimension of play, and breaks up every day confusion, interrupting it with the possibility of 'consciously daring' and making your own personality and creativity emerge from the established chaos.
"Switch-it technology - adds Aracri - allows it to be enjoyed as a brand new pair of glasses each time it is personalized. The German patent MIM, Metalpowder Injection Moduling, consists of a simple structure that allows both the bridge and stems to run on the hidden track, so every kit of new frames allows the eyewear to be turned into an exclusive item, without revealing the change technology. It is made in polyamide, a plastic material that can easily be modeled and adapted to the need to bend the glasses or lens with a small jet of air between 60 and 80 degrees'.
The eyewear, with its short, sharp name (Switch-it literally means 'change it'), is destined to influence the way of enjoying accessories and our personal look, targeting all those consumers who do not want to feel restricted to one single style. The wide target is for anyone who wishes to break away from schemes - and be able to return easily - going from explosions of color to a more formal look. So, Switch-it aims to attract consumers in search of fashionable eyewear, which is not referable to one brand.
The collection will be available with 12 models, 8 rimless and 4 metal (3 nylon and one rounded). Each model has 4 color combinations, two on the narrow stem and two on the attractive, large stem model. The choice of colors enables a mix of shades, which is able to infuse femininity or masculinity with unisex shapes.
