Mad in Italy’s creative madness at Mido

Mad in Italy by Vista Eyewear was one of the protagonists of Design Lab, the area at Mido devoted to the most avant-garde companies in the eyewear sector.
“We are very pleased” commented Vista Eyewear marketing director Giorgio Dalla Longa. “The event represented a confirmation by well-established clients and it also attracted great interest from the market at national and international level.”
Evolution in design, the search for revolutionary technological solutions that increase lightness, comfort and wearability, the strong belief in all-Italian expertise and in its unique and unmistakable “creative madness”: these were the undeniable successful factors.
A studied combination of factors determined its huge success and the response from sector operators and the media, which dedicated space to the Madin Italy brand: a stand strong on visual eloquence and made from special, 100% recyclable concertina material, an “eye makeup for glasses” event-show in collaboration with Bellessenza and, above all, a comprehensive, innovative collection that was the perfect balance of creativity, functionality and glamour.
The temple transformable with a simple click did not go unnoticed. The TG5 and Costume e Società-Rai2 TV networks documented this decidedly ingenious solution that skillfully avoids the inconvenience of carrying replacement temples. These TV programs also interviewed Claudio Dalla Longa, the inexhaustible visionary and creative mind behind the brand.
