AKN Group (formerly Akoni Group) acquires Götti Switzerland and Lenti Eyetech
AKN Group expands its portfolio and creates a high-end eyewear hub in Switzerland.
With the acquisition of Götti, AKN Group—a member of Alsara Investment Group—consolidates its continued success and growth since its founding in 2019 with its first official acquisition. Known for its design, craftsmanship, innovation, and quality, Götti has been one of the world’s most respected independent eyewear brands for over 25 years. The acquisition also includes the premium lens manufacturer Eyetech.
In addition to representing a significant portfolio expansion, the acquisition reflects a transformative alignment of culture, values, and shared expertise—bringing together cutting-edge technology, design vision, and a mutual commitment to excellence. Strategically, this milestone strengthens AKN Group’s position as a key innovator in the global high-end and luxury eyewear sector. The Group considers this acquisition transformative: by merging two teams with complementary strengths, the resulting synergy will push the boundaries of design, craftsmanship, innovation, performance, and technology.
“Swiss precision. Performance. These are the pillars that define us,” says Rosario Toscano, CEO and founder of AKN Group. “After five years of steady growth,” he continues, “the time has come to take the next step: expanding our portfolio, strengthening our distribution channels, and empowering our team. By combining talent, resources, and capabilities from both companies, our goal is to create a high-performance eyewear powerhouse with a focus on quality at every level. The acquisition of Götti embodies our vision for the future.”
“With this acquisition, I am confident I’ve found partners who share a common and aligned vision for the future of eyewear. I am truly excited to continue supporting the company in its next phase of development,” says Götti founder Sven Götti.
“Sven will join the AKN Group Board of Directors,” adds Toscano, “and will continue working at Götti—particularly on the creative side—where we are committed to preserving the integrity and identity of both the Akoni and Götti brands. Real progress is not about changing who we are, but about expanding what we can become.”
