Alain Mikli x Ray-Ban: an exclusive capsule collection blending avant-garde and pop iconography

The historic collaboration returns with new shapes and an unprecedented logo, balancing memory and disruption.

Some creative encounters don’t belong to the past—they reignite, shift form, and return with sharper intent. Alain Mikli and Ray-Ban revisit their cult partnership with a limited-edition Fall/Winter capsule collection, unveiled in Paris and available exclusively in the two brands’ boutiques.

Originally born in the late 1990s, the alliance between these two eyewear icons comes back with a more defined perspective. The collection revives the silhouette that launched the original project and pairs it with new structures that intertwine Mikli’s experimental aesthetic with Ray-Ban’s heritage, deeply rooted in global pop culture.

The Alain Mikli x Ray-Ban capsule builds on contrast, combining sharp lines and unexpected curves, rebellious elements and traditional references. The frames reinterpret archival designs through a radical lens, playing with sculpted volumes and clean geometries.

Standout pieces include oval silhouettes with side visors inspired by late-’90s experimentation, cat-eye shapes with jagged profiles and two-tone surfaces, and more essential models featuring mixed acetate and metal structures. A bold color palette and the debut of a red Ray-Ban logo run through the entire collection, bridging iconic references with innovative design solutions.
