An eco-friendly capsule collection

An eco-friendly capsule collection

Aru Eyewear, the made-in-Italy independent eyewear brand, was set up in 2019 thanks to the creative and entrepreneurial vision of its creative director, Daniela Verazzo, architect and enthusiast of architectural design. The brand stands out for its fusion of passion and taste, perceived as fundamental concepts for improving people’s lives, and offering items that feature design which is fundamentally linked to purpose and flawless quality.

After years of attention focused exclusively on the aesthetic aspect of eyewear as a fashion accessory, today the ARU brand is committed to the concept of sustainability, favouring quality materials with a short supply chain to protect the environment. These include top quality cellulose acetates with reduced solvent content and nickel-free finish metals.

The brand’s Natoori line of glasses is inspired by the nature around us, where various elements become sources of invention. The models Eden, Flos, Gea and Linfa all feature dynamic and on-trend designs, with strong and decisive shapes complemented by thickness, details and light effects, in a colour palette of warm crystal shades that are vibrant and suggestive. The Natoorì line, with four transparent models (three genderless and one woman’s) is produced entirely in organic acetates, composed of natural plasticisers and additives that make them biodegradable.

The Natoorì models are enhanced with a logo on the metal core and a seven-point hinge. They come in a handmade and eco-friendly semi-rigid case made with resin, wood powder and cotton, complete with inside pockets. To round off the product, there is a microfibre lens cloth featuring the designer print that graces all items in the range.
