fter the recent openings in Europe, Calligaris continues its international expansion strategy with a new store in Hangzhou, capital city of the Chinese province of Zhejiang, the final destination of the ancient Grand Canal which starts in Beijing. Hangzhou is one of the most industrialised and advanced cities in the world.
The store is located in the centre of the city, in the well-known Redstar Group Shopping Mall, a strategic area in terms of commerce with large visitor numbers. The store is spread over 240 sq.m of floorspace, well laid-out and very bright thanks to its large windows. It is set to become a new point of reference for lovers of Made in Italy design, a location where it will be possible to discover the new Calligaris and Luceplan collections.
There are various iconic items in the dining area section, including Oleandro chairs with soft padding that go perfectly with the Icaro table, complete with ceramic top (particularly elegant in design yet still completely practical), as well as the comfortable Holly lounge chairs.
For a special feature in the living area, Calligaris proposes the iconic Lake sideboard, which stands out for its harmonious outline, the Renee coffee tables with minimal yet stylish design which adapt to all needs, and the Bam coffee tables in ‘minimal chic’ style with grand visual impact, created by the carved geometric shapes sliced up within an overall inlay pattern.
The furnishings are completed by a series of objects and lighting proposals by Luceplan.
