Marcolin opens new showroom in Barcelona: expansion strategy in the EMEA market

A new hub along Avenida Diagonal strengthens the Group’s commercial presence in the Spanish market and Southern Europe.

Marcolin continues to expand its international footprint with the opening of a new showroom in Barcelona, officially inaugurated on November 18 during a private event that brought together media representatives, commercial partners and local institutions.

The initiative is part of the Group’s broader development plan in the EMEA region, confirming Spain’s strategic relevance within the eyewear industry.

The showroom is located on Avenida Diagonal, one of the city’s main thoroughfares, and features an architectural design by the Milan-based studio Navone Associati. The space combines aesthetics and functionality through a flexible layout that integrates offices and a wide exhibition area dedicated to Marcolin’s brand portfolio, designed to facilitate meetings, collection presentations and commercial activities.

During the inauguration, guests were able to preview the venue and learn more about the Group’s vision. “We are proud to open the doors of our new showroom in Barcelona, a dynamic and strategic city for our growth in the EMEA region,” said Antonio Jové, Head of EMEA at Marcolin.

"This space represents an important step in strengthening our commercial presence in the Spanish market and in Southern Europe, in line with the Group’s global vision and in continuity with previous openings in Paris, New York and London. Customer centrality has always been at the heart of our approach: this showroom has been conceived precisely to create a place where listening, dialogue and collaboration can translate into concrete experiences and long-lasting relationships.”

As a creative tribute to the city, guests received an illustrated postcard by a local artist featuring iconic symbols of Barcelona accompanied by the Marcolin logo.

The new Catalan space adds to a global network consisting of 15 subsidiaries across Europe (Benelux, DACH, France, Italy, Nordic countries, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom), the Americas (United States, Brazil, Mexico), Asia (Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore) and Australia (Sydney), along with a joint venture in the United Arab Emirates and more than 150 international distribution partners.

A widespread presence that aims to strengthen direct connections with markets and stakeholders, while further enhancing the service provided to clients worldwide.
