Nomec 92 Srl invests in the future of Mirage and the Varese eyewear district
A strategic industrial move to strengthen the local supply chain and safeguard the region's manufacturing know-how.
Nomec 92 Srl, a company specialized in the production of high-end sports eyewear and in the design and manufacturing of molds for the eyewear industry, announces the launch of a major industrial operation that will lead to the establishment of Mirage Srl, a new company wholly owned by the group.
The acquisition marks a significant step toward the revitalization of the historic Mirage brand, long recognized for its excellence in high-end fashion eyewear manufacturing, and toward the consolidation of the Varese eyewear district.
The new company aims to enhance local expertise, protect skilled labor, and preserve an industrial legacy that has long contributed to the excellence of Made in Italy.
This move will result in the creation of an integrated production hub, combining the advanced engineering precision and technology of Nomec 92 with Mirage’s established artisanal know-how. The project is designed to build a fully vertical supply chain, from creative design to final production, offering the market a highly competitive and high-quality service.

The new structure will cover the entire value chain: from design and creative development, managed by Thinking Hub—the in-house creative studio of Nomec 92—to the design and production of molds and high-performance sports eyewear, through to the manufacturing of fashion eyewear, now entrusted to the renewed Mirage Srl.
With this strategic integration, Nomec 92 strengthens its position in the industry, contributing to the growth of the Varese eyewear district and establishing itself as a benchmark industrial partner on both the national and international stage.
