House of Modo to present smart glasses brand, EyeFly
House of Modo announces the release of a smart eyewear brand, EyeFly. The products are crafted to look and feel like premium everyday glasses, while integrating open-ear audio and hands-free connectivity directly into the frame.
With EyeFly, sound becomes part of how one moves, letting you listen to music and podcasts, take calls, or interact with AI assistants – without earbuds, cables, or screens. EyeFly is audio-only, with no visual capture or recording, allowing connection while respecting the individual’s privacy. Featuring directional open-ear audio to deliver clear, immersive sound while keeping the wearer aware of their surroundings, the product has built-in microphones, support calls and voice interactions, and touch-sensitive temple controls enabling intuitive, one-tap use.
“With EyeFly, we are excited to enter the tech world with a product that condenses the real functionality of today’s wearable technology into frames that look and feel premium,” said Alessandro Lanaro, Founder and Global CEO. “By focusing on audio only, we offer an open-ear experience that keeps you connected while preserving both your privacy and that of the person you are talking to. For everyday use, we believe video is not only unnecessary but can even feel intrusive, which is why ‘Sound in Motion’ has such huge potential – and we intend to lead this new category in the optical industry.”
EyeFly is a brand created by House of Modo and “driven by design and ease of use”. Every frame or sunglass comes with smart audio temples and standard temples, that can be swapped as needed. This allows the individual to have the choice of being connected or disconnected. EyeFly shares the values of all House of Modo brands - Modo, Eco, and Italia Independent, all of which focus on functionality, innovation, storytelling, design and comfort.
