Luca Casarotto
Bio
Luca Casarotto is Associate Professor of Design (CEAR-08/D) at the IUAV University of Venice. He has been teaching and conducting research at the university since 2007. His areas of research include innovative technologies, new production processes, Industry 4.0 and 5.0, the relationship between design and artificial intelligence, polymeric materials, environmental and sustainable processes, the circular economy, and the development of technologies applied to design. He is currently coordinator of the FIND (Future, Innovation and Design) research unit and the national IoTXR research group (Interactive Factory: enabling technologies, from IoT to XR).
