Belstaff focuses on accessories
The Belstaff-owned Clothing Company, the clothing brand known particularly to motorcyclists, has decided to create a new division dedicated to footwear, small leather items and accessories. It will be directed by Stefano Bandini, a man with considerable experience in the sector and who has already worked with F.lli Rossetti and Kickers. Ongoing plans include a patent for 'revolutionary' eyewear, which should be ready by 2004.
The new division should achieve 16-17 million euros in three years, increasing its billings in the existing footwear sector by 13 million euros. Objectives include research, new materials, reproductions of the legendary boots of the Fifties, and expansion abroad.
