France, Turnover on the Increase for Visual Opticiens Chain

Visual Opticiens, the French brand with 385 outlets and 13 branches, had billings in 2002 of 165 million euros, a 14% increase compared to the previous year (a 4% constant perimeter).

2002 will be a year to remember for the group: it was elected the best company for value for money (according to a survey by MKO INFORCO 2002) and it acquired 35 outlets. The acquisition of these stores represents 10% of the increase in turnover, while the remaining 4% is due to the constant perimeter in the increase in billings by outlets.

Visual announced that in 2003 it will focus on increasing revenue from existing outlets and will take on new optics stores.

According to data supplied by the company, there has been a bigger increase in the first 5 months of 2003 than there was last year.
