Gold medals and records for adidas eyewear athletes

Medals for adidas eyewear at Paris and Milan. Giuseppe Gibilisco, the athlete sponsored by adidas eyewear, became world pole vault champion at the Stade de France, Paris. A well-deserved victory for the 24 year old athlete from Syracuse who has broken the Italian record twice and achieved a height of 5.90 meters.

adidas eyewear was also on the podium at the World Rowing Championships held from August 24 through 31 at Milan's Idroscala: a gold medal in the light-weight solo for Stefano Basalini, and in the light-weight four-man with Emanuele Federici, Daniele Gilardoni, Luca Moncada and Filippo Mannucci. The medals were presented by Roberto Formigoni.
