International Optical Show in Korea

The International Optical Show 2003 at Daegu in Korea is due to take place from November 1 through 3. Sector revenues in this Asian country total 450 million dollars, with a population of 46 million and the number of consumers estimated at 20 million.

The fair will provide an opportunity to meet the professionals in the Korean optical sector, a network composed of 600 manufacturers, 7 thousand retailers and 20 thousand optometrists; the organizers are expecting 15,000 visitors (9,000 in 2001 and 10,000 in 2002).
