Italian eyewear on Paris runways

On the occasion of Silmo 2003, the Italian Cultural Institute in the French capital will host the second Italian eyewear fashion show in Paris on October 16: an event where buyers and the international trade press are given a preview of the spring-summer 2004 fashion trends.

The show is organized by Anfao, Associazione Nazionale Fabbricanti Articoli Ottici, and is produced as part of the sector agreement with the Ministry for Production Activities - Internationalization Department, with the support of Ice-Istituto Nazionale per il Commercio Estero and the collaboration of the Italian Embassy in Paris.

The organizers are certain that last year's success will be repeated, and their intention is that the runway should be a key showcase for Made in Italy eyewear at the time of the important eyewear review in Paris. It will be followed up by a 5-page special in the magazine Elle France.
