Louis Ferraud Launches Eyewear Line
The French brand, Louis Feraud, is about to launch a new line of eyewear which will be produced by the German Nigura (which already has licenses for Cerruti and Porsche Design). The agreement is part of a series of new licenses in the accessories field and will include leatherwear (given to the Italy's Koblot) from next winter and (from spring-summer 2004) a line of jewelry from International Jewellery Design.
On the distribution front, the expansion is aiming at new markets like Latin America, but next month Europe will see the opening of the second flasghip store in Paris which follows the 300-square-meter store inaugurated in the capital at the beginning of this week. This is the tenth directly managed boutique in the world and joins the 12 franchising areas.
