The biggest Ferragamo boutique in the world is in New York

The new flagship store, Salvatore Ferragamo of New York, was officially inaugurated on September 12th on Fifth Avenue. Located on two floors connected by an impressive stairway and covering 1,800 square meters, it's the biggest Ferragamo boutique in the world.

The first floor hosts the collections of women's footwear, bags, foulards, leather accessories, ready- to-wear, eyewear (produced and distributed by Luxottica), the new line of watches and perfumes, a section for ties and a reception desk. On the second floor there are articles for men as well as the children's collection, the client assistance department and the gallery. In this special area of the store, which was inspired by the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum in Palazzo Spini Feroni, Florence, art exhibitions have been set up, confirming Salvatore Ferragamo's close relationship with art.

On the corner of Fifth Avenue and 52nd street, the store's unusual façade extends for 13.5 meters, creating an exceptional perspective from the street. The contrast of light and shade continues on the outside with the use of two different shades of limestone imported from Italy. 'We wanted to create an extraordinary impression on the street, not only with the presentation of our products, but with an exterior that makes us stand out from our neighbors', said Ferruccio Ferragamo.
