Usa: frames market remains sluggish

According to data published by Vision Council of America, the trend in the eyeglasses market has remained stagnant in the second quarter of the year: despite the prospect of an economic recovery, Vca's companies have registered a drop in the delivery of frames amounting to 0.9% in terms of units and 3.8% in value.

While plastic frames recorded an increase, metal frames seem to be experiencing a fairly negative moment. In addition, consumers preferred to buy non- brand eyewear.
