UV rays: Transitions Optical presents American research data

At the Hotel Danieli Conference Center in Venice on September 19, the 'Light, sight and photochromics' press conference will see the presentation of the monograph written by Doctor Susan Stenson (Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the New York University School of Medicine), in which she collates the latest clinical research into protection from UV rays, long-term vision protection, and visual acuity and comfort.

In 2002 Transitions Optical allocated an independent study grant to the New York University School of Medicine for clinical research to assess the impact of photochromic technology on the health and the quality of life of patients with vision-related problems.

Transitions lenses were chosen for the various tests. During the conference, Dr. Stenson will personally present the clinical results of her research. Ophthalmologists and sector experts from various European countries, as well as Italian professionals, have been invited to this exceptional event for which a simultaneous translation service will be provided.
