13th international meeting of Pentaprisma Club

Every year, Pentaprisma Club organizes a 'close encounter' with the various operators in European optics. At these meetings, club members have the chance to meet colleagues on their home ground and find out about their working experiences, the main problems they come up against and market trends in the country visited.

The Pentaprisma Club gives participating speakers from abroad an overview of the various aspects of the situation in Italy, which are further discussed during the debate that follows.

At the start of July, the Pentaprisma Club caravan moved to Helsinki in Finland, where it was received at the offices of the Association of Finnish Opticians by its President, Bernd Schwenson. After his speech, the President of the Pentaprisma Club, Giuseppe Pietroni, and Vice-president, Angelo Corti, took the floor and then introduced Silvano Pellegrini, the new sales manager for Sola Optical Italia, who gave a short presentation of the company and a more detailed description of the Italian market. The director of Ice Helsinki also spoke at the meeting.
