Afflelou group's second sign opens

The first two Lunettes Plurielles outlets, the Afflelou group's second French sign, have been opened at Mérignac (Carrefour Soleil shopping center) and Bègles (Carrefour Rives d'Arcins shopping center), in southwest France.

The new signs take the place of the L'Optique Carrefour stores, now owned by the Afflelou group, in areas covering 100 and 130 square meters.

The stores offer flat-rate prices depending on the age of the buyer (under 18, over 18 and for glasses with progressive lenses) and multi-purchase cards (discounts based on the number of glasses bought) free at Afflelou outlets.

By the end of the year, the group envisages opening about thirty Lunettes Plurielles stores.
