Alliance between Vision Care Product News and Vedere International
First Vision Media Group, Inc., publisher of Vision Care Product News, and Edizioni Ariminum Srl, publisher of Vedere International, have signed a strategic alliance to create co-marketing, sales and editorial opportunities for the optical industry on both sides of the Atlantic.
Through this agreement, the sales organization at Vcpn will represent Vedere and its sister publications, E&F and Tech International to U.S. advertisers. In turn, Vedere's sales agents will represent Vcpn, Optical Lab Products and other First Vision publications to European and Asian advertisers.
The publishers have also agreed to produce jointly a supplement series for 2005 to be called 'American Style'. It will be designed to showcase American eyewear brands to optical marketplaces around the world. The first of these supplements is slated to be published in the first half of 2005, for distribution to major European and Asian trade shows, as well as the readership of Vedere International. A second half supplement will follow with similar worldwide optical distribution.
