Bottega Veneta opens in New York

July will see the opening of the new Bottega Veneta flagship store on New York's Fifth Avenue: as well as being the most important boutique in the North American area, its size also makes it the most impressive store in the entire worldwide chain.

836 square meters for the sales area alone, in addition to almost 300 square meters for the offices and showroom. Designed by Creative Director Tomas Maier in synergy with architect Bill Sofield, the New York flagship is situated in the Sliver Building, which dates back to the early Twenties .

Bags, exotic leathers, eyewear (produced by Safilo), jewelry and suitcases are on the first of the two sales floors and are completed by desk accessories, home collections and the rich ready-to-wear proposals for men and women. There is also another area dedicated to leatherwear where personalized items for men and women are made to measure by special order.

With the New York monobrand, there are now 64 worldwide Bottega Veneta stores in the United States, Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, Guam, Korea, the Philippines, Kuwait and Dubai.
