Carrera at the top of K2 with the Scoiattoli Group

June 10 sees the start of an adventure by the Scoiattoli Group from Cortina D'Ampezzo which, on the fiftieth anniversary of the conquest of K2, has decided to reattempt climbing the second highest mountain in the world by repeating the feat by fellow citizen, Lino Lacedelli.

Going with them to the top are Carrera products, the sports brand by Safilo, which the Scoiattoli have chosen to protect their eyes and their sight from the weather and the sun at 8,000 meters.

All Carrera's technology went into making the glasses and goggles they'll be wearing to guarantee maximum protection and comfort, even in the most extreme conditions: special lenses, anti-mist protection, air perforations to facilitate trekking and climbing.

To emphasize the importance of this expedition, the models have been personalized with the mark 'K2 1954-2004'.
