Carrera Race drivers visit Safilo

On the eve of the first race of the new season, the World Motorbike Championships stopped at Safilo for a day. Before leaving for Welkom in South Africa, the drivers of the Safilo Carrera-Lcr team visited the company to present the team and the bikes (Aprilia officials) to the entire sales force.

After the fantastic success of last season, Lucio Cecchinello has changed from a driver's suit to that of full-time manager and he presented the two 125cc drivers, Roberto Locatelli, who won the title in 2000, and Mattia Pasini, at the World Championship starting line for the first time, as well as Randy De Puniet, one of the favorites to win the 250cc title.

Starting this year, the team will race under the Carrera colors: the special and attractive Carrera name takes up the entire flank of the motorbike and red is the dominant color, a symbol of energy and adrenaline, but also of a passion for sport.
